1. Controller

The controller responsible for data processing on this website is:

Jule Mehlmann
Master Esch 48

E-Mail: jule@mehlmanndesign.de
Telephone: 01608976684

In this Privacy Policy, “I”, “me” or “my” refers to the controller named above.

2. Hosting

This website is hosted by Framer Inc., Rozengracht 207, 1016 LZ Amsterdam, Netherlands.

When you visit this website, Framer automatically processes certain technical data (such as IP address, browser type, operating system, date and time of access and pages viewed) in server log files. This is necessary to deliver the website securely and reliably.

The processing is based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, on the basis of my legitimate interest in providing a secure and stable website. A data processing agreement is in place with Framer to ensure GDPR-compliant processing.

3. Data you share with me

There is no contact form on this website.

If you contact me by email, phone or similar, I will process the data you provide (for example name, email address, content of your message) solely for the purpose of handling your request.

The legal basis is:

  • Article 6(1)(b) GDPR where your enquiry relates to a (potential) collaboration or contract, and

  • Article 6(1)(f) GDPR in all other cases (legitimate interest in responding to enquiries).

Your data will be deleted once your request has been fully handled, unless statutory retention obligations require a longer storage period.

4. Vimeo (Do-Not-Track mode)

This website embeds videos via the provider Vimeo (Vimeo Inc., 555 West 18th Street, New York, New York 10011, USA).

When you visit a page that contains a Vimeo video, a connection to Vimeo’s servers is established and your IP address and the page you visited may be transmitted to Vimeo.

I have configured the Vimeo player in Do-Not-Track mode, so that Vimeo does not track your user activities and does not set tracking or marketing cookies. Vimeo may still use technically necessary data to deliver the video.

The use of Vimeo is based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, on the basis of my legitimate interest in an attractive presentation of my portfolio. Where applicable, data transfers to the USA are based on appropriate safeguards such as the EU Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses and Vimeo’s certification under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. For details, please see Vimeo’s own privacy policy.

5. Google Fonts

This site uses Google Fonts provided by Google to display fonts in a uniform and visually appealing way. When you access a page, your browser loads the required web fonts from Google’s servers. In doing so, Google receives your IP address and information that this website has been accessed from your device.

The use of Google Fonts is based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, on the basis of my legitimate interest in a consistent and attractive presentation of the website. If consent to the use of Google Fonts has been obtained via a cookie or consent banner, the processing is additionally based on Article 6(1)(a) GDPR; you can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future.

If your browser does not support Google Fonts, a standard font from your device will be used instead.

This portfolio website is designed to be as privacy-friendly as possible:

  • I do not use analytics or marketing tools such as Google Analytics or Meta Pixel.

  • I do not set any cookies for advertising, profiling or reach measurement.

  • Cookies or similar technologies may be used by Framer or Vimeo only insofar as they are technically necessary to provide the website and video playback.

If a cookie or consent banner is used, it serves to inform you and, where required by law, to obtain your consent for specific external services (such as Google Fonts or Vimeo). You can change or withdraw your consent at any time via the options provided in the banner or your browser settings.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, in particular in the Member State of your habitual residence, workplace or the place of the alleged infringement.
